Joep, can you expand on this point?
I understand that B4s are essentially a direct replacement for the OE Peugeot shock absorbers.
If Eibach -30mm springs were installed on B4s wouldn't the car sit at -30mm?
If the -30mm springs do indeed keep the car at the standard ride height, is this because the B4s are gas shocks and the Peugeot ones are oil?
Or to put that another way, is it that the true standard (Peugeot) shocks, being oil, will not exert any upward pressure on the car, whereas the replacement gas B4s do exert upwards pressure, by their design. And therefore in order to mitigate the upwards pressure of gas shocks a slightly lower spring is needed to get back to standard ride height?
This might be the reason for my ride height issues, if true.
