Can anyone point me in the right direction for the correct CV clip pliers. I have recently purchased original Peugeot boots and clips and my pliers don't work on this type.

Laser Tools 3397 is what I've got and worked on the OE clamps on the CV boots. Also good for the little hose clamps in the engine bay, think they're called Clic-R clips.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not in a hurry so have ordered a pair off ebay. The proper clic-r clips are harder to find. I really only need these pliers to do the cv boot ones but I'm keen to replace the others dotted around the engine bay. Also saw a pair of the proper pliers to remove/refit the rad hose clamps. For years I've just struggled away with ordinary pliers! LOL

Slip joint pliers are good for the large hose clips as the jaws can be kept parallel.
