Stupid question but what way does the ARB go, is the bend at the end up or down ??

Down. Never really payed attention the anti roll bar so I had to look it up online. If you search for "suspension Peugeot 306" you will find some photos.

Thanks Tom so the hump in the middle is down, what size tube did you use to cover the ram, I had a couple here but none fitted, is it a mod worth doing

Not sure whether the tube will last. Some that have done the same say it's no use.

Tube was probably for a 2.25-2.4" tyre, they're pretty stretchy so anything 2"+ would probably work.

The original is just polythene, I'd say about the same gauge as a heavy duty bin liner or builders rubble bag. Therefore any replacement could be done in something similar. I would expect the biggest problem will be trying to get it sealed into a tube shape.

This is my original one, removed and cleaned up before going back on.
