Interesting read that. Like the bit about the 505 Gti, have just got my fathers Gti 1989 estate back on the road and will start on his other 1987 one this year.

Hi Phil, would love to see a couple of pics if poss, always loved the 504 GTI since driving one when i was a youthage.

Got the power and manufacturing dates wrong for the 306.
