Hi all,

My track day 306 has Gaz GOLD coil-overs fitted. The car is so low that when jacking up the car, the springs are loose. Now I noticed these helper springs:

Does anyone have experience with these?

Are there any pros and cons?

My car is intended to be driven on the Nurburgring, so there are a few spots where the car is airborne... would helper springs make any difference?

They will make a difference, I'm running helper springs on my car as well. I got Gaz GHA and helper springs from Gaz.
They will add a bit of ride height when compressed. About 20 mm would be a good guess.
You need to lower the car the equal amount and make sure there's clearance to your tyre.

Thanks! I ordered them directly from GAZ (way cheaper than any other option) and got them in last week already.

Just got my car back from the welder who fitted a cage, so could not fit them yet. Not sure if I have time in the near future to do so, but I will post an update for sure.

Tom (Dutch guy with the black S/C GTI) dit fit helper springs a while ago. We run the same setup. He is very happy with the helper springs.
