baho wrote: no sorry... it is a black box, larger than cigarette box and it is under the emergency light switch, fog lights switch, positioned like HU but smaller and at the bottom of the central part, guess rhd drive on the same place Yup same place. Please 2 is clipped in and phase 2.5 and phase 3 is held in by 3x torx screws. Easy to remove ________________________________________ 1998 Supercharged White Rallye1992 205 GTi6 205 Turbo 340bhp |

Yeah that black plastic ring next to the ignition barrel is the antenna. It is a coil that powers the transponder (chip with unique ID in a little black plastic body inside the key housing) and picks up the data from it. The black control unit next to the ashtray is the so called CPH (compartment protection something in french a.f.a.i.r.). The CPH receives the data from the coil and decides whether to unlock the ECU or not (immo). |

yep, the antenna is just that, an aerial to pick up the chip, its a generic part so you don't need to swap it, nor do you need to change the ignition switch, all you need is the chip from the key if its an IR setup, the later RF you need the whole fob.of yeah and its not the BSI as the 306oc lot love to call it ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
