What’s people’s views on using aftermarket reclining seats with harnesses ? I’m also fitting a cage if that changes anything Many thanks Chris

For me, and my limited knowledge, with harnesses, it's all about the angles of the straps. From what I know, there are preferred angles and positions which prevent submarining in a crash. Reclining seats constantly change angles. Can't say I'd be too comfortable using harness with reclining seats but that's just me ________________________________________ Cherry Red Rallye .... As long as there proper quality not Ebay specials then they should be fine as some of the cheap copies etc really are not designed for harnesses as the holes etc are for looks. Allthough with a cage etc I’d be more inclined to go for a fixed bucket for safety etc and as with the cage you’ll be limited to movement anyway - I had recliners I’m my 1st white rallye and could barely move them without interfering with the cage |
