Hi do you need slider rails on the drivers seat for a MOT ? My seat feels too high so I’d like to lower it more could I redrill these brackets and cut them down abit so the seat sits on the cross member ? Better of starting from scratch and weld some proper ones in you can get as low as possible then. In my rallye I had them with runners added as well for different drivers and still had plenty of height at 6”4 |

Yeah as if your welding in proper bars it’ll be as strong with the seats i had before to get them central I even had to cut part of the skin out of the tunnel blandy has attached the following image: |

They are the f**kers I have welded in mine. Cut the inner skin from the tunnel on the drivers side to get the seat more central.________________________________________ How to do a clicky: click here remove the space between [url & = |

same in the 106 I'm helping with at the moment, make sure they are welded all the way around, and that the counterplates are 3mm thick (MSA/FIA spec)to make it easier to weld in we tacked the counterplates to the tube in situ, then welded them all the way around on the bench, ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
