Hi,

my brake lights were permanently coming on and after checking the brake light switch, above the brake pedal. it had popped back through the hole. Are there any tips on how to reach in and place it back in? it seems almost impossible to reach round the back?

thanks

Hi, I did mine through the drivers side air vent, the one by the window. And I still have the scars to prove it

Now I think about it I removed the plastic collet type thing as I couldn't get enough leverage on the switch to push it through. I used a thin cable tie pedal side to secure it and stop the switch going back up

Or just follow the Haynes instructions.

1. Remove dashboard
2. Replace switch
3. Refit dashboard
