Been thinking about wether anyone had bored out the restrictor ring on a low boost and what the results were after. What accompanying modifications would need to be made (not internally) to see safe results. And how much would need to be shaved from the restrictor to get results. Please keep replies as factual as possible please Thumbs up

I see some running 230-240hp and others running 270-280... surely the 240hp ones can be machined for more airflow while retaining safety Dunno

Yep, that's exactly it.

Exhaust system can male 30 BHP difference between a good one and a bad one.

You can bore it out, but you need a custom remap to suit.

More air without any more fuel or ignition advance adjustment is dangerous.

It could be all manner of things from cambelt timing accuracy to sensor wiring quality.
There are better ways to make it quicker
