Quick question has anyone ever done this or seen a good job of it been done?. I was thinking of cutting a section out of a non sunroof skin then cutting a section to match the hole in my roof, then welding it a inch at a time (weld a inch miss a inch) I have basic skills with a welder when it comes to body work. Many thanks ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

I removed my sunroof and replaced it with a carbon sheet. I cut it to fit the hole. I’m very pleased with the results. Have you tried the search bar?________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

Yes mate shame most people’s pictures are with photo bucket, looking back though old project threads and there all ruined with out pictures :-( . The car is blanked off like yours but with a metal panel was just seeing how much work it would be to weld one in so it was completely gone. Do you have a picture of yours with the carbon panel ? ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

I think you will fiond it very hard to make it look decent, would be better to swap the full panel, its a ton of spot welds.or re-shell. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I’ve got a few pics but don’t know how to upload them without photobucket. I think you will struggle to get it to look Factory non-sunroof without spending serious cash. IMO, your best bet is to look at a simpler way of doing it which you will still be happy with.________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |
