As Mei Said no ...your wheel bearing will be shot in no time ...I personally think 10-15 is fine but 20mm is max ...but I’mSure others will disagree |

Dam swear I've seen some of the dimma s done with spacers that's why I though I'd ask. The guys that made your front suspension do you reckon they'd make a basic one I don't think I need all that adjustable stuff Damien ? ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

In the Netherlands there is one Dimma (if it is a genuine one) with huge spacers. I would not go beyond 30mm but I know someone who had >50mm spacers on his 205 Dimma track day racer without any issues. This caused a lot of debate at meetings But isn't it also dependent on the width of the wheel and the ET value? I have 22mm at the front and 25mm at the rear with Rinjani's (7.5 inch wide) and 205/40R17 tires on my GTI6 and 22mm at the front and 25mm at the rear with Challengers (6.5 inch wide) and 205/40R17 tires on the 306 convertible. ________________________________________ My car park:'96 Sigma Blue XSi6 '98 Diablo Red GTi6 '99 Onyx Black S16 All RFS powered! you may well have seen stupid sized spacers, but you really don't want to use them, surefire way to ruin a cars handling and wear out bearings quickly.anything more than 20mm isn't allowed in rallying, some categories they're not allowed at all. just get the long wishbones and shafts, and rear wide track kit if you are building a dimma. there isn't a great need to go wide arches though, as you can get some pretty grippy tyres on a 7" wheel which goes in the standard arches, I think Miles said you can get 8" in without too much work. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Just buy the dimma wide track stuff and have done with it? Will still need ET0 up front (effective), so where that's an ET15 wheel and a 15mm spacer is fine, but 50mm sounds drastic?Only thing NLA is the top mount for the Dimma kit - you'll need to weld in new turret tops or come up with some form of adapter. Don't forget rear wheels either was -ET38mm I recall for Dimma wheels? There's plenty of folk (myself included) doing similar work in slightly different ways and budgets right now. My wishbones are not mega bucks from Alan Dent, nor are the work on the driveshafts etc etc. But for sure it does add up, even when you do it yourself. I think all are better than mega-spacers though? |

Cheers for the answers guys, rallye red I think I've been on his website do you know if he does custom work ? Looks like he does I've got standard fit 17 in wheels and not keen on swapping them so would like to customise the arms to suit. ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

Aren't standard ET15 or something? That's perfect isn't it - why do you need custom wishbones? He can do ones like mine, or single adjustable.. but not sure why you need them? |

I want to do the 50mm kit like Damien's not a dimma kit plus I have 17in wheels standard fitment and I'd like to use them. Hope that make sense plus it's in 406 drive shafts so hopefully I can use standard shafts if I swap hubs ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

Think that'll depend if the 500miles are round Oulton Park, or your local town Surely it's not even worth bothering with for such a little return? |
