Just had the drivers side front braided hose fail - it's split away from the caliper at the nut and spewed fluid everywhere. Has anyone else experienced this? They were fitted in 2012, so thought it would last longer than that. Where can I source another pair of braided front hoses? Are there any quality differences between Goodridge, Hel, Exact etc. |

got a picture?they're all much the same, I think Mocal have been the nicest I have seen and used, I made my own hoses last time though. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Is it possible the failure has come about through the line being stressed a bit through the turning circle? If it's a bit marginal on length, then it might be less about the materials or mfr and more about the actual design. Those lines all seem to be much of a muchness between different mfrs as Mei says.. |

No pics I'm afraid, but the nut stayed tight on the caliper and the hose came apart directly above that. It's only done 6000 miles since they were fitted.Local garage is fitting standard hoses on it at the mo, I'll ask for the braided ones back so i can inspect them. |

I'm guessing it's a crimped fitting, rather than a re-usable style one?I ask because if the hose length is a bit short, it'll be stressed where the crimp is performed on the fitting, and as the wheel travels through the steering range that joint will be the fail point. |

In the end I sent the wife to collect the car as I was busy, and she forgot to ask for the braided ones back |
