Ive got Sparco sprints and they are a decent enough seat, that said if i was to do it all over again i'd actually go for the Corbeau equivalent - they are a GRP seat with a gloss back black, very comfy, great price and look cool too |

Can u answer the age old question for me? Do these seats sit you significantly (at least 2" lower than the standard seats? If so, what brackets are you using! I have helmet room issues. Cheers! ________________________________________ SmartyMy lil toy: http://www.flickr.com/photos/martincurtisphotography/sets/72157640014140786/ |

You really need to fabricate your own mounts if you want to sit lower.________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

I'm using cobra sidemounts. The seat is bolted as low as possible which doesn't feel very low. I'm certainly not tall and my head sits worryingly close to my rollcage.________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

Currently out of stock but I believe these are the lowest bolt in options going..http://www.krs-competition.com/shop/integral_body/support-siege-cote-pilote-p-647.html OMP and Sparco bases roughly similar to each other, but sit a bit higher than the above ones. Both might require re-drilling to position your seat mounts where you want them though. All of these options could be straight forward to make yourself or have fabricated. My sunroof in the GTI is the biggest obstacle for head room compared to my Rallye! Cheers Iain |

I have Cobra Monacos in mine with custom sliding mounts from Demon Tweeks, so i can still move the chair back & forth. Very comfy and sits lower than the original seat, even with the optional rectangular fitted cushion you can buy. |

OMP base plates with cobra side mounts but with Cobra Suzuka S seats. ________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

very nice. look very much like mine except mine are slightly faded lol. Before you fitted your omp base mounts did you cut out the box section bit from under the seat as they clash with the base mounts? |

Pretty sure they bolted straight in. Perhaps the phase1's don't have the box section.. ________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

I had to buy an OMP XL size one for my 306 race car, due to middle age spread ! ( there was also a 10 week lead-in time when ordering it but GSM did a good job and were straight with me, which is all one can ask)I had to get my race prep guy, Tom Motorsport in West Kingsdown, to cut the transmission tunnel, to get the seat to fit as it is 410mm wide in the botty section of the seat ! He also had to get the door bar re-fabricated to bend around it but it worked. And very comfortable it is too !! ________________________________________ Adventure before Dementia !! |

Hi people,Been using my cobra imolas for a month now and decided they are too narrow. I'm not massive but like to spread my legs when i drive lol. and these dont give me much room to do so. mine are currently 360mm internal so will be looking for 380mm onwards. Seats will be used for mainly track use and the occasional blast. I have been looking at sparco rev 2s. Has anyone has any experience with these? |
