Hi i'm after a sunroof blanking panel, Preferably a flush carbon panel but i'm not sure what types people have made so I'll consider anything. I've tried contacting lwsdesign as they have one listed but they don't seem to be answering there phone or email and I've tried more then once. Thanks ________________________________________ 208 GTI OwnerTurbo'd '6 project - work in progress |

I can make you a piece of flat carbon then just trim it to a rough size using a dremel tool then refine with a sander/FileI'll do you a piece big enough for £35? ________________________________________ Proud Member of the ASTOR Owners Club |

About 0.5 mm it would be one piece of carbon built up using fiberglass on the back with black pigment so you cant see it!________________________________________ Proud Member of the ASTOR Owners Club |

Gnrlee, is that 0.5 overall thickness? I'm interested but I'm not sure if that's thick enough.________________________________________ 208 GTI OwnerTurbo'd '6 project - work in progress |

And do you think a 3mm sheet will sit flat to the roof as it curves in 2 directions?________________________________________ 208 GTI OwnerTurbo'd '6 project - work in progress |

I used 3mm. It does the job. Depending on how you bond it as to how well it will sit on the roof. If you oversize the sheet by 10mm all round, you can rivet it on.________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

In order for me to make a one off you'll be looking at about £50 And I now have alot on so there would be a bit of a wait! ________________________________________ Proud Member of the ASTOR Owners Club |

I dont stock it or anything i'd just buy it in but it would just depend on how many layers of carbon/fiberglass etc you put on to define the final thickness!Think of it like building up a cake! ________________________________________ Proud Member of the ASTOR Owners Club |
