Got a carpet from a rallye and the foam part is wet and bloody heavy. The foam will peel off nicely however my question is

Has anyone fitted a carpet without the foam and how does it sit / look in the car?

It would be going in a road rally car (please no advice needed on rally cars having carpets) so will be there as it has to be. But it will bug me if it looks s**t.

Any pictures would be great Thumbs up

Im just about to refit my complete interior and carpet using https://www.dodomat.com/ sound proofing matt.

Lighter, warmer and better sound resistance than the old underlay. I may do rear quarters and roof too, maybe!

I don't want any. Just enough carpet to satisfy the regs.
