My 6 is due an MOT middle of this month and was wondering what checks you lot would advise me to do before the garage get a hold of it? It's done just over 120k miles it passed last MOT and I've sorted all advisories bar a new rear beam. It's done about 8k miles this year. ________________________________________ 98 Blaze 6 - Current |

tyres washers lights, rebuild that beam, check the rear brake lines whilst the beam is off, front to rear lines are above the left side of the tank.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

disc pads, pitted or discs with a lip, headlight beam aim, bulbs, warning lights on dash, tread depth (The legal limit for minimum depth of the tread on your tyres is 1.6 millimetres, across the central ¾ of the tread around the complete circumference of the tyre) it would be an idea if we could get hold of a kind of DIY MOT Sheet that we could print off in the download section then go around the cars checking everything off in turn this been done anywhere else? Edit: here's a check sheet you could run by! Clicky ________________________________________ Proud Member of the ASTOR Owners Club |

I usually just check the basics and take it, if they flag anything then you can just sort it and take it for retest :-)________________________________________ 205 mi16405 Mi16x4 restoration project 406 v6 saloon track car project/daily driver 508 Hdi |
