I've currently got a set of gmax shocks on my 306 track car and there a bit tired so im looking to upgrade them over the winter. Not looking to go nuts price wise but an upgrade would be nice. Would i be best to go for something like koni yellows or perhaps gaz coilovers or similar? Ive often found that decent shocks and springs can be better than entry level coolovers but not had much experience with the 306's. Cheers |

I have koni yellows front and rear, with eibach springs at the front and a rebuilt rear beam with VTS bars.It is a good set up for the budget, particularly as I got lucky and won the fronts on ebay BNIB for cheap. ________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |

I don't really have a particular budget in mind but wouldn't want to spend more than the price of some gaz coilovers for example. |

I have the spax rsx front coilovers, gaz gold rears, a slightly thicker ARB, uprated wishbone bushes, new rubber rear mounts and an upper and lower strut brace. It's a reasonably cheap set up and it serves me well as a few would agree I'm sure. Gaz golds are ultimately better but are a good amount more expensive. Plus from what armzsc6 found, the springs they came with were too stiff and it didn't handle properly until softer ones were fitted. So you may have to factor that into the cost.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

My personal view is you will find it hard all round to beat Bilstein B8s with Eibach springs 30mm drop unless your spending serious money ![]() I loved mine & YES mine are far better now But I've spent serious money now on Black art Design ... Don't forget to sort the rear end out as well ![]() |

It's a good set up but I found it a bit too soft for my liking on car I've driven with them on. But... it's a decent all rounder. I still prefer my set up and think it takes some beating. Damian, as I ponced a lift from you at pugfest this year, fancy a passenger ride in mine next year? I'd appreciate your input on it.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Fair enough. I liked the PSX kit I once had. They worked well and people can do a lot worse.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |
