Would a knock sensor stop your car from sparking?Better yet, wtf does a knock sensor do? Even worst, do you have to take the manifold off to change mr knock sensor?  As a side note: anyone had 'cylinder not recognized' from the ecu.......just askin. --------------- Please remain calm, in the event of a failure, death is certain. |

knock sensor, senses knock. sounds like a crank and or cam.sensor issue. knock is pinking, or pre ignition (in a turbo car, detonation) ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Me and armzsc6 changed mine without taking the inlet off. Mine is dee resonated and was still a pig.  ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |
