Would a knock sensor stop your car from sparking?
Better yet, wtf does a knock sensor do?

Even worst, do you have to take the manifold off to change mr knock sensor?

As a side note: anyone had 'cylinder not recognized' from the ecu.......just askin.

knock sensor, senses knock.

Big grin

sounds like a crank and or cam.sensor issue.

knock is pinking, or pre ignition (in a turbo car, detonation)

Yes, you will need to remove the inlet manifold to change it.
