Hi guys. I'm currently running Spax PSX all round and I am very happy with them but was wondering if it was worth changing to coilovers. Specifically Spax RSX as they seem great value ( I know that generally means cheap) and I can't spend too much more on the car. Does anyone know the pros and cons?FYI, I want performance on track, not road ![]() ________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

Save your money .....I had standard Bilstens with Eibachs & they wère amazing ....ok my Black Art Coilovers are much better but (not) £2000 better ....you may need ajustable top mounts & possibly diff length ARB drop links ...& possibly wheel spacers ...Don't bother yet if your happy with them as I was with my Billy's ...even on track ! Invest your money in a Diff of some sort for most improvement for your pound ....massive difference on Track ....Plate diff if you don't use it on the road more than 10% ![]() Cheap Coilovers are throwing your money down the drain ![]() PS don't get me wrong as Russain Guy says All the little bits do add up to a lot ![]() |

That does sound like great advice and I must say, it is what I was hoping someone would say. Especially since I have just bought some new springs ![]() ________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

Well I'll be honest, I got my Spax Rsx's for a steal and I can't fault them for the money. The handling at Brandshatch and pugfest was spot on as anyone who went as passenger would agree. I would say they are head and tails above TA and AP ones. They ride very similar to armzsc6's gaz golds.________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |
