Is it possible to remove the boot lid with out cutting though the wiring or can it all get fed back though ?

Yes, just need to remove the two rear quarter trims to get to the wiring. Passenger side will be one connection for the heated screen and the washer line. There should be a join in line.

The drivers side there are three plugs which you disconnect. Just pop both black grommets out and feed the wiring through!

One more question was covered recently but I can't find it now can you remove the black trim around the window without removing the screen ?

100% yes it's a finishing trim that does nothing ...they cause rust by letting the water in but not out at the bottom ..I removed mine ...use a pick tool to pull out from top corner but don't catch the edge of the glass or bag of bits !

PS ...be warned paintwork on edge underneath can be different Col as the daylight & elements haven't got to paintwork ..Lots of new cars don't have trims now Thumbs up

I'm sending some panels off to be resprayed so will they come off and go back on ?

If you mean the trim ?.....when the glass is out the trim goes over the edge & when you bond & push the glass down it holds the trim in place Thumbs up

Mask around the window,...
it might be a bit OTT to remove a window just for spraying!
unless your going to a poly Window? then spray in between fitting!

Yeah I was a bit worried has it's a Diablo boot it might show though in the edges
