Rally tends to be much harder on brake temps than circuit.
though it is on 330mm AP's and 930 kg

I dont think weve changed the pads in the rally saxo in two years since it had new rotors, 12 events with 100km competitive per eveny and easily another 150 km road mileage per event.Rally tends to be much harder on brake temps than circuit. though it is on 330mm AP's and 930 kg ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Im hoping you have everything required, brackets, hoses etc Looking to spend £350 max Just a point .... Remember big brakes mean ...Bigger wheels and bigger tyres ..meaning more money & also you will need extra power to move those bigger wheels & tyres ....wish I could fit 15s rather than 16s/17s ...but sadly I need the overall stopping power.... |

The added expense of wheels and tyres is why I went to so much effort to squeeze the biggest I could inside 15's ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

Yes I was hoping for Brembos, Wilwoods, HiSpecs that I can fit with spacers on cyclones even if it has to be 20mm ________________________________________ Phase 1 silver track car335i daily |

I doubt it really, with enough leverage you wont be on them that long, some ducting and good wheel choice will help.also proper pads not fast road. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Not had any issues with heat on mine, and it gets some abuse.Wheels do get a bit hot to handle when swapping over at the end of a trackday though. Once again like Mei said, don't mess around with fast road pads, i had a lot of issues with DS2500's and i know many others who have had the same. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

That's what I'm on but tyre selection isn't the best & not cheap ...I mean top end stuff also.... profile choice not the best in 16s ...I've had to go 50 profile on 205s in Dunlops they are overall bigger than my 17s with 40 profile & touch on a few places with 30mm drop |

16" is cheaper than 17" for rally tyres for certain, all the R2 tarmac cars run 16", nothing much rally runs a 17", R5 and WRC have been on 18" for years.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
