My Rallye has the single fan, I'm assuming I'd be better off changing to the double fan setup with the addition of an oil cooler. Also any pics or link to a thread to see how best to fit/plum oil cooler in would be great! Thanks in advance Ari. ________________________________________ I Live for the 306TEAM CHERRY PINK RALLYE 2008 BMW ///M 320d |

single fan is fine, no need for an oil cooler unless you're having oil temp issues on track?________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

I think the second fan on the Gti-6's is mainly for the air-con iirc.________________________________________ DIABLO GTI-6 - Legend - NILE GTI-6 - SoldCHERRY GTI-6 P1 SUPERCHARGED - Broken up BLACK RALLYE - Sold 205 Dturbo xud9 work horse - Dead CHERRY RALLYE - new toy |

Yep. All non ac cars had one fan and are fine. You will have oil temp issues on track. I've up'd mine from a 13 to 16 row as mine was still a bit warm at Brandshatch. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Fans are redundant once the car is moving, they don't do anything past about 30mph, if you want more cooling get an oil cooler, not an extra fan.________________________________________ R H Davey Welding Supplies. It's because Rallyes are a poverty spec gti6 they didn't come with everything on them. Only one fan, no air con, poverty cloth interior, less paint and they never even came with the option of a sunroof either. ________________________________________ Team SUPERCHARGEDI LIVE FOR THE 306 Old Project thread Clicky: click here remove the space between [url = |

I understand that the Rallye had the single fan for not having A/C but I'm thinking of upgrading as the temp shot up in traffic either that or I may have to have a manual switch? So if I want to use it for the odd track day I won't necessarily need oil cooler? ________________________________________ I Live for the 306TEAM CHERRY PINK RALLYE 2008 BMW ///M 320d |

My 106 started doing that and it totally crapped out about 200 miles later. Check your coolant levels and top up! |

I have a 19 row oil cooler on mine and the oil gets up 95c on track, when I had a 13 row it used to climb to 120c. Makes a big difference.________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
