cully wrote: power steering pressure switch i think it changes the rpm at idle when/not under load from steering So increases rpm when under load to compensate and keep it idling the same? Should I connect it? EDIT: My question is more along the lines of, why would someone disconnect it? ________________________________________ Phase 1 silver track car335i daily |

Being lazy on my mobile found the answer Rich E wrote: It can cause erratic idle problems as the sensor is used by the ECU to lift the revs if the power steering is under load at low revs to stop the engine stalling under the extra load the PAS pump needs. I would recommend replacing it. Even if it appears to be okay without it you'll always be left with a question mark over it if you have any issues in the future. Will probably replace it ________________________________________ Phase 1 silver track car335i daily |

Can't imagine replacing it will be too expensive or difficult of I need to. ________________________________________ Phase 1 silver track car335i daily |
