Quick question, I removed a phase 1 vts rack yesterday from a Y plate vts that's going for scrap.

I already have a phase 1 rack on my 205 so this will be for my rallye at some point. The car that I removed it from has been off the road for a few years due to having the engine removed for a 205 conversion. Does it need to be stored with fluid in somehow? It's likely to be another 12 months or so before it sees the rallye!

Just don't want it to be knackered when I come to fit it!

Cheers

The only thing that has fluid in on these is the ram which you should be swapping for the rallye one anyway as it's what restricts the right hand lock. As long as the boots and gaitors on the rack are in good nick it should be fine unless it's stored somewhere damp.
