Not much, 183 bhp on the rolling road, with standard everything else, I put a limit of 6000 RPM as the engine had done 100K miles, though the head was rebuilt. |

I wouldn't go with a kit, you wont get a satchell inlet in one and they usually include a linkage kit which is £80 you dont need to spend, have a look in my project thread for more details and pics.6k limit?! mine went to 7700! stock engines peak at 6500, a bit more on bodies, not sure where my peak was but on ph2's it was roughly 200 bhp flywheel at standard 86x86. 100k miles is nothing! ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Maintenence is the key Swapped out my engine 4 years ago for a low mileage one and fully rebuilt the head but it occasionally catches the limiter at 7650rpm in first if you don't change up as the rev counter gets to 7k because the needle can't keep up with the engine speed lol. Good maintainance inc good quality belt and pump and you won't have a problem. These heads have double valve springs for a reason. ________________________________________ Black power baby! I do have history with the car, and the head was rebuilt, just played it safe for everyday road use. |

Mines got 162k miles on it and I never think twice about taking it up to 7k revs. Get that limiter raised.
