thought i would have a nice easy job replacing the lower engine mount,

but i cant seem to get the bracket out....
i read through an old thread where someone asked the same question but no reply,
if i pull it all the way to the rear of the car it sits 1cm~ off the bolt hole,
in this position it hits welding and will not move any further back,
am i meant to bend one of the sides and some how maneuver it off the bush mount?

yes i know the bracket is pushed all the way forward in the photo.

I seem to remember when I was doing mine I left the engine supported by the top and gearbox mounts, then to get that bracket out you have to push the sump as far forwards as you can as the engine should pivot on the two other mounts a bit. Smile
