Is it possible to measures the cylinder head thickness without removing it . Got some cams just want to check before fitting them .

I'm unsure will check tomorrow on the cams , I have had the head skimmed once but I'm not certain how much was taken off it was 5 years ago and believe this is the only time it has been skimmed.

2mm lift at tdc on inlet, 1.4 exhaust, too much for std pistons even machined, borderline too much lift for std valves also.

Aw ok what if I had a thicker head gasket and machined Pistons would that still not work .

wilder cams need more compression not less, you would lose a fair bit if you put a gasket thick enough to get safe clearance, I don't think you'll find a gasket thick enough for that as well

I can't remember the exact figure, but its around 10.9, they'll hit the spray bars past 10.9 also if they're the same base circle as a standard cam.
