I would have assumed an earth fault somewhere but I've checked the one under the dash and the common brown plug behind the fuse box
Phase 2 for anyone that has ideas?

I've been putting a stripped 306 back together and I've run into a strange one. My park lights, faciea lights and tail lights all come on with the ignition both acc and on.I would have assumed an earth fault somewhere but I've checked the one under the dash and the common brown plug behind the fuse box Phase 2 for anyone that has ideas? |

With the stalk unplugged problem still persists, so it can't be a short within the switch? |

Incorrect window switches try unplugging them and see if that sorts the problem ? Had a similar issue years ago |

It wasn't so much the wrong plug but according to wiring diagrams etc, the loom had an extra brown low gauge wire which I couldn't make out the number on but as soon as I isolated that wire and plugged everything back in it still worked but my park lights were off! So no idea what that wire is for but I haven't run into any problems since apart from my fuel pump not priming but I think that's a different gremlin |
