Surely can't be that expensive to get re-covered up locally? Rather than posting from UK?

I did! Last year I bought 1 yard or 2 of Alcantara and the special 3M glue and did it myself, but I didn't managed to achieve a professional finish. I used a steam machine to mold the bends and to the handle surround, if you look close you'll see my dodgy finish, because of that I want those cards original, or some upholstery lessons!!

I mean the door cards from a GTI 6 that has half leather half suede/Alcántara. I think those cars has Alcántara in the door cards. Mine came with mustang interior.

If you did then it was re-trimmed

To my knowledge ph1's were soft cloth
Ph2's were a soft cloth
Ph3's were a cloth that grates the skin off your elbows
Rallyes had a

I do like that Carl! Might be on the to do list Wink

Ph.1 gti6s had alcantara on the door cards. I've had two.

They are totally different doorcards though.
