Im just about to take the 6 to France with a few associates and want to get some great footage of the alps. I think i want the GoPro3 black as it seems to do everything i want with all types of accesories if i need them. But i have been told you just pay for the name and you can get the same for less than half the price elsewhere.
What do you guys use or recommend...? Thumbs up

I have a GoPro Hero4 black edition which is probably worth more than my 306 LOL

Had always planned to get a cheaper one but the quality is brilliant and obviously good for other uses, where as the basic in-car ones will lack the quality etc

I'm sure you could get a decent one for say £100 though

Not got a decent mobile phone that will do HD video?

Just get a massive SD memory card and whack that in. Tha5 should do for a couple of hours video at a fraction of the cost of a go-pro

I have one called "nextbase 202" from halfords and I can't complain really. It takes video's and photo's in full 1080 and cost about £70/80 I think. I've got the middle of the range one as I didn't want one with gps built into it tracking everything I doWhistle

I did look at go pro's but I think the price of them is stupid, but it depend what your looking for and how much cash you have.
