Fitted a Mocal oil catch tank, inlet pipe is one of the two from the cam cover, plus i added a breather filter to an open port on the breather tank. Is this correct?.
Because all that's happening at the moment is that the oil vapour comes out of the breather filter and nothing is collected in the tank.
If i remove the filter and put the blanking plug back in wouldn't it just pressurise the oil breather system. I know its just an aluminium tank with no way of condensing the oil vapour either, so how is it supposed to work?.
It does have a special 'breather' screw on cap too, but unsure how this works.
