Guys,

What would be the reason for this??

Now thats part of the bottom mounting of a Ph3 light. A valeo one, broken as about usual! My bigger concern is it was packed out with 4 washers, same in both sides. Is there something missing or is it likely down to the non standard, insurance replacement slam panel?

Can't quite figure it out at the minute!!

If their broken it wouldn't have affected them anyway but usual reason for washers behind headlights is to straighten them up after a smack

Thanks fella.

Already discovered its had a smack as its got a replacement slam panel although Id expect the repair to be good enough that this kind of bodge wouldn't be required......

Mine looked like that aswell - that bit is currently lying in the "parts not needed upon re-build" shelf

headlights are still in- so I put it down to over engineering

If just do away with them as long as the headlights don't look out of place without them. You'll find out come mot time if the aim is out.
