On the engine going in my 205 the black unit on the front of the throttle body is cracked and the sensor plug is mashed.
Would there be any problems in sealing the crack up and not plugging the sensor in?
Or should i stop being a pikey and get a replacement?!
Cheers

Winner! Thanks.

Guess its worth sealing the crack up because as its part of the breather system or else i guess it will get messy?

On the throttle body for the supercharged setup the whole black plastic area is done away with and just a metal sheet put over with silicone around it. Just do that if it's all cracked up.

I would just source another black plastic piece, saves f**king about modifying crap needlessly.

I use an oil catch can. Though there's almost hardly ever any oil in it at all mostly condensation vapour have to empty it every couple of months. Engine doesn't inhale it's own oil then either.

Run the breather to atmosphere and then get the metal plate from Rich to cover where the broken heater is.

Job sorted.
