OK, cheers. Has anyone used Dexron III (considering it's usually backwards compatible) with no ill effects? I have a load of that spare but would prefer not to damage the pump and rack seals with the wrong stuff.

Anything red will do lol. I can't remember what I put in mine last but TQD3 should be fine too.

After a little research and a look in the handbook, it seems it essentially wants Dexron IID: a Dexron II fluid with corrosion inhibitors for use in hydraulic systems. The handbook recommends Esso ATF D or Total Fluide ATX, both of which are Dexron IID spec fluids.
