Hi All, anyone have an idea what it would cost to paint a 306, primer and top coat in a base colour, with me doing all the prep work myself (as best i can). I would have hired a compressor and bought the paint, but have no where to paint it . |

Cost me £1800 in cash last year for my 205 had to rebuild it myself but they stripped it very heavy handed I'll add, ohh that was with welding to the door seal and removing a 2 dents above the doors from where something had fell on it ________________________________________ Old pugs don't die they just get faster |

similar to my 205. totally stripped it for them inc windows etc and needs a few small dents pulling out, tiny bit of rust removal on the boot but that's it________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

If it's the same colour as before it will be cheaper, you get what you pay for but 2k would be about right for a good spray job |

This thread came at the right time. I spoke to a guy this evening about getting mine sprayed he said between £1500 an £2000. That's complete spray all the doors shuts ect panels removed an put back on so the lines are right but I have to strip everything else |

Ooh lots of information, thanks allot for your input. So up to £2000 for a decent paint job then. I guess i'll be waiting until next year to fit the Kit by the looks of it, until i've saved enough money. |

There is a place next door to work, but i've seen GT40's and an F40 there, so big bucks. Maybe i'll pop in and find out. What i might do then as an alternative is just take the wings, front and back bumpers, skirts and have them painted on their own. |
