This may be a bit of a silly question but can I lower my 6 just with a coil over kit or would I have to lower it off the torsion bar, and also what would be the best coil over kit to buy?

you can just lower the front if you really want to, would look daft though.

on a budget, best bet is a set of eibach springs, next up would be some bilstein or koni dampers and eibach spring, after that a kw or ast or bilstein coilover.

torsion bar adjustment is advisable with any method, as is increasing rear spring rate.

It was level 30mm when I had it. And yeah whatever you go for on the front you'll need to Match by lowering the bar
