For sure. I've been passenger in a standard and overtook a LBSC at Llandow before.
There is a massive difference in pulling out behind a car on a road and planting your foot down to pulling away on circuit.
I can just about hang on the back of 400hp imprezas, evos etc at Combe on the straights and normally overtake into braking or exit, however if I pulled out behind a tuned impreza at 50 on a A road to overtake a car they'd be long gone.
It takes a lot of HP when at speed to make any decent ground
