My car is in the garage today for work and they have collected the car from my house and left a Porsche convertible in it's place. The wife thinks this is a fair trade and we should keep it because and I quote "It doesn't have a chav exhaust".

She still thinks I should of got a Mondeo/Golf etc Dunno am I the only one in this boat where the other half just dosen't get it ?!?

What model of porsche did you get?

My ex was actually alright with my 'stupid cars' but preferred to drive her Polo which i never understood.

Yep, my wife's the same. Although, after 10+ years of '6/rallye ownership, she's actually starting to warm to the things. Either that or she's just lived with me so long now that she's starting to become like me! Funny thing is, she slags me off for the time/money I spend on the cars and the ever mounting pile of spare parts but as soon as someone else comments negatively she jumps on them like they're her cars!

My dad's ok with it because it's technically his old car but mum has no idea. None of my friends male or female understand why I'm spending so long on a little car though, especially after I had a hilux for a while. Little do they know...

my wife seems to like the trips but not the time i spend on the car
she enjoyed our trip to Nurburg ring and the laps there

she always wants to go out in the 6 rather than the daily

she didn't go much on our spin X2 at castle combe though

I have been reliable informed now that it said boxster on the back, so they can keep that one as I can't put the bike on the roof.

She liked my 205's untill the carbs & engine build. She approved highly of the skyline but never like the pulsar that followed and the 306's super-retro-ness is lost on her but my friends get it even if they all have family wagons.
