I finally got round to bothering to put my 6 on a mates rolling brake tester on an ATL which weighs the cars axles to calculate brake efficiency. Been meaning to do it for ages as it's only round the corner LOL

Can't remember the weight of a standard full fat phase 2/3 6 with Aircon but mine is stripped with AC removed, rear wiper removed, spare wheel removed, all sound deadening removed, Airbags wiring and ECU removed, 330mm brembos, 17" Superleggeras, oil cooler, supercharger kit, MASSIVE front mount cooler bigger than normal high boost size, 2 not exactly light weight bucket seats, upper and lower strut braces, rear harness bar with very thick plating either side, still has sunroof and electric windows, also has a tig welded 2.5" full centre exit exhaust system with two large boxes and pretty thick pipework....

Wasn't expecting it to be much lighter than standard with all that lot but works out at 1065kg which isn't to bad! Could easily get one below a tonne without all the crap I've got on mine lol.

It was 1148kg with me in it and a few bits and bobs in the back. You got a cage but smaller cooler lighter exhaust and no sunroof I presume? Should be similar really Thumbs up will be less once I get my carbon bonnet back on and might yet remove the sunroof....

Mine is 995kg with a quarter tank of fuel. Or rather it was before the winter. Not really removed weight just moved it into the wheelbase and further back Smile

Only fibre bonnet but has lexan windows. Sunroof plated, heavy bucket seats and a 19 point welded cage

Christ... My Volvo v70 t5 weighed less than that LOL

I haven't gone silly on the weight loss, I suspect there is considerably more to be removed. But I am running full dash, hydro, extinguishers etc.

Lol fair play mines a mk1 PD150 now 300ftlb on a custom map with smooth torque curve unlike most that give you a lump making it feel quick but in actual road speed terms isn't that great... It could be pushed to 210ish Bhp and more torque on the current turbo but clutch wouldn't last to long so I'm happy with how it is at the minute.

Not sure what the MK2's weigh but would have been a 140 or 170bhp 2.0PD engine. Go well for standard cars but not as well as mine lol. Funny how an old BM is quicker tho LOL
