So I replaced the engine in my phase 1 gti6 over weekend have put a phase 2 engine in but now the fan wont kick in I also put nissens radiator in and bleed system twice and coolant running free from bleed screws anyone had similar issues ________________________________________ James |

Did you put the rad thermostat switch in the radiator and reconnect the plug ? Phase 1 has a different wiring system to a phase 2 |

That the blue switch at the top of radiator or is there another ? ________________________________________ James |

Yup that's the one I assume you swapped the sensors over from the p1 engine and kept the original loom ? If so the switch in the rad maybe faulty ? |

So is all the sensors on the phase 2 thermostat different from the phase 1? a thought only difference was the phase 2 had brown plug and phase 1 doesn't ?________________________________________ James |
