Correct me if I'm wrong, but Rallyes didn't have Bitron units did they?

Mine doesn't have aircon......but does have a Bitron.....

I suspect it's something to do with the GTi6 engine it had put in
hmmmm

there are many "bitron" units, Bitron is a manufacturer LOL


specifically what most call the bitron unit is the fan control box located under the nearside inner wing under the ABS pump, its plugged into the front end loom not the engine or fan loom, so it wont have been due to an engine swap specifically.

Ah, OK. I found it today, just flapping about behind the battery. Guess it could be what you've described....

That's the fuel pump/injection system double relay, which as you've found is also made by Bitron LOL

when i had fan issues years ago i spent a good few hours looking for my Birton fan unit thing

oops LOL
