Hello chaps.

Basically what the title says. I am after a replacement for my car but i don't want to replace the complete assembly.
Anything after market? Anything above the 3.5 bar that can be used as the oem fitment?
Mine is on it's way and if i go to that route it's good to know that i can fit something better as an upgrade.

Any info more than welcome.

Yanni.

Regulator on fuel rail dictates pressure not pump ? Oe fuel pumps flow more than enough ? Why do you think yours is failing ? They are not known for failing ?

We measure the flow and pressure of the fuel pump a few days ago and numbers was on the low side.
Flows at 1.6 ltr/min at idle and 1.4 litr/min on full throttle while pressure won't go above 2.4bar and thats low.
So we know that the pump is on it's way out.....
The thing is that i am preparing a set of bodies to go back in the car (the ones of my project a few years back). I have done a number of mods to run properly and plans are to have them fitted back in a few weeks.
So i am looking at a replacement in tank pump that can run up to 4 bars of pressure but it seems that i can't find anything...

Just get a new standard one, as above they flow plenty if in good working order.

Plenty of people using the original on throttle bodied gti6's and low boosts etc that don't seem to have problems so doesn't seem worth the hassle
