I have an intermittent fault where I get vibrations through the steering while breaking. Doesn't happen the first few times I use the brakes but only when they are warmed up a little or when slowing down from speed. Also doesn't happen under acceleration or cornering etc. Feels like a badly balanced wheel when it happens and is very noticeable.

In my limited knowledge I would assume it warped front brake disks Dunno

Clean them up first, could be pad deposits

Do you mean the disk/pads or the caliper/sliders?

I've got my Cillit Bang the marigolds at the ready ....

Lol take the pads out and clean them up refit with plenty of copper grease. Also make sure the sliders are nice and free. If that makes no difference then it's warped discs.

Discs and pads. Brake cleaner with wet and dry.

Sliders could be sticking too

Check that there is no rust on the mating surface between the disc and hub, can push discs 'skew and give feedback under braking
