Just get a corner enclosure for the boot so it's out of the way.

So went to look at the mock up of what it would look like this morning and even though the sub can be mounted up front, combined with how the amp would sit under the passenger seat it is far too intrusive for me. Other options such are removing the glove box and putting it further up inside were discussed but all far too much work for a weekend car.

So it's going in the boot along with the amp on the left handside where the cd changer sits. Will require a bit of Time Alignment but the HU does all that.

The option of raising the floor was looked at but decided that side would be better in term of sliding wheels etc in and out of the back.

The only issue i mentioned is leaving access to drop the rear beam. They've already covered the boot floor so if anyone has a good photo showing where the bolts are to drop the rear beam so they can cut those out before dynamatting and building the enclosure that would be helpful. Ta

They've already covered them up i think then. I had a quick look this morning when i was assessing the sub position up front.

Is that the 4 grommets (2 each side) near the back seats? I seem to remember seeing them when i looked when first got the car.

Thank you Andy. I've sent a photo to the guys building the sub enclosure so that they leave access to those grommets.

Thumbs up Thumbs up
