Hi guys, forgive my ignorance but i have no experience with spacers at all. Another forum member has put 20mm spacers on the rear so the wheels fill the arches a lot better. I love the way they look now and it suits the car 100% Cool My question is will these be the correct fitmet (including bolts) for my cyclones?

cheers Thumbs up

Take it your car isn't lowered? No way you coul fit 20mm spacers with cyclones if it's dropped at all I would have thought? And those wheel bolts are 60 degree tapered which are only for aftermarket wheels. Cyclones need flat seated bolts with washers unless you don't mind them working loose Thumbs down

Bolts need to be flat faced for cyclones

Bud, as I said in my PM, they are gonna be fine but if running cyclones as you say, you'll need tapered washers to give the flat seat on the bolt.....

See the bottom of this page....

Mines dropped 40mm and 20mm spacers on the rear make it close, but it's ok.....

Are your arches rolled? I might be wrong but I thought once their dropped they will be to tight to the arches.

Might depend on the condition of the beam and tyres size/type. Also it will make it softer on the rear and load the bearings more than normal.

Just a warning, i've got solid beam mounts, and polybushed, lowered i think about 30mm and running 16's on a 205/45 tyre and they are catching on the outside edge.... - you'll be stuck with standard or equivalent 15's
