No worries. The only issue, that's been stated before, is that even colours that are exactly the same can look off on different on a car, due to varying shades of the original paint Being mixed. ________________________________________ For we are many.PS£ ID: Monkey369 |

that may well be, but the codes rarely varied even if there was a very obvious difference, so its as good as it can be!colour of the primer used varied which will affect it too. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

i think the general gist of this thread is:china blue in p2 306's is M0GE and metallic china blue in p3 306's is EGED and pearlescent they look miles different when side by side so fitting a p2 china bonnet will end in tears on your p3 china gti6, as i learned, and luke by the sounds of it ________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

The real mystery to me here is that the car it came off looks to be a phase 3. Maybe the above rules are correct for a 6 but not for the other models, or more likely there was a crossover period. |

Thats why I'm so confused,if were working on the premise that phase 2 was MOGE and metallic and EGED is phase 3 and Pearlescent then that car should have an EGED paint code not MOGE. Perhaps the paint code didn't change with the phases and was either a separate factory option or had a crossover period. |

Thing is as allready mentioned you can get the totally correct paint and it's still out.It doesn't look that far out imo, I really don't think there different paint codes, I may be wrong but there will generally always be a slight difference unless you get it off a car painted at the same time at the factory. ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |
