Gear link control return Part No 2449-71

just had to buy one as i sold the one off my scrapper DOH!

they are on back order from Peugeot though
i had to sweet talk a dealer in scarbough as they had one on the shelf Wink

changing this will probably stop the linkages rattling as it will be the bushes warn rattling not the linkages

If they are uprated linkages from Miles or something then expect the rattle to continue at some point, after regreasing they maybe quiet for a while!

Has anyone got a video of said rattle/noise?

I think I have a slight noise I’m trying to pinpoint but never thought the linkages could be the culprit. My last rallye had same annoying little noise and always put it down to the clips on my 4-2-1 manifold but the noise is identical on my new car but no manifold hence more digging (I don’t have standard linkages to try)

If it's anything like mine, and from the sound of it most people on here it will be an annoying rattle around 3K rpm and if you put some pressure on the gearstick it will stop/change/quieten down. On mine its a metallic buzzing noise but only between 2800 and 3200 rpm

Yep that’s it hard to describe but yeah a annoying buzz pretty much sums it up.
