I've some team dynamics pro race 3 wheels which I measured as having an offset of 25 (210mm outer edge to inner edge, 130mm from inner edge to back mounting face, the wheels are R15 7j.

Cyclones are an offset of 19, R15 6j from searching through threads etc.

Sticking the details in here I get this:

quote:
Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 18.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 6.7mm more than before.

I assume this will give me fouling problems on the inside and that I'll need to run spacers. The question is, how much should I be spacing them out?

I would have thought 20mm to avoid the wheel sticking anymore towards the inside?

Just want to check that I'm definitely being sensible before I go ahead and start spending money on fitting accessories really.

Will double check my offset measurements as I did them in a hurry.

Thank you.

look on the inner rim face for the ET, will usually be stamped there dot matrix style in very faint lettering.

ET25 will need around a 10mm spacer to bring it to the more common ET15 which the direct fit 7" wide rims tend to be.

the peugeot sport SL434 were ET8 at 6.75".

I'll have another look, or if not another measure. I did try to find an offset stamp but I'd just finished swapping backboxes in the rain and my heart wasn't really in it Laugh my ass off

Right so if offset is 25 then I could get away with 10mm, great thanks WP.

Haven't got around to checking offset, if my measurements are correct this looks like an ok deal?

http://www.jjcraceandrally.com/race/wheel-spacers/hub-buddies-peugeot-citroen-10mm-competition-wheel-spacer-kit-4x108-205-206-saxo-c2-306-309-xsara-ax

Ideally I'd like locking nuts so perhaps I'd be better off buying bolts and spacers separately?

Right, checked the inner rim and found the offset stamped as 35 there.

Do I need 20mm spacers then?

I'd say yes. Aiming for 15-18.

To avoid starting a whole new thread:

These should be fine with a 30mm drop as far as I can figure out?

My 17" Superleggeras are ford fitment of ET37 7" rim as that's the only way they made them but have genuine OZ 26mm spacers and bolts as supplied by them taking the offset to ET11.

I've found these wheels don't scrub at all on the rear ever where as every set of 17" ET15 I've ever had on any of my 306's slightly catch the arch every now and then. 20mm should be spot on really though.

Great thanks.

Thought it'd be fine with a small drop but it's nice to hear someone else agreeing!
