Has anyone had the experience of changing the green clip over on the drivers side window regulator got a t reg gti 6 any advice or help would be greatly appreciated cheers ________________________________________ Innes drummond |

Why are you changing it? It's not too bad, get some locking pliers to keep tension on the wires (lock them on the wire I font of the cable sleeves) so they don't unravel on the drive. They push through the grommet with the clip in. Remove all the seals around the the door, gives you more room to move the glass into place. As for the getting the actual green bit off, take the rail out slides over the top. |

The wires go through the grommit ? Thought the grommit was just to hold the green clip ?________________________________________ Innes drummond |

I had fun with that last year. Was not the best atall. It's trying to get the clip in the hole and to stay. And then get the rest of the clips on that hold onto the regulator. Use a very very small bit of washing up liquid. That usually helps it to slide into place.
